Nirmal Police Quiz Owaisi On Hate Speech Case
According to sources, the questions asked by the police were quite generic, and the MIM leader patiently replied to all the questions in the presence of his counsel.

On the first of police custody on Saturday, the Nirmal Police asked different questions to MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi in connection with the alleged hate speech that he made last month.
According to sources, the questions asked by the police were quite generic, and the MIM leader patiently replied to all the questions in the presence of his counsel. Akbaruddin Owaisi was taken to the Armed Reserve Police Headquarters from the District Sub-Jail, where he has been lodged, on Saturday morning. He was shifted to the ARP Headquarters under tight security.
Earlier, Akbaruddin Owaisi was examined by doctors from RIMS who declared him fit to face questioning. Meanwhile, the jail authorities refused to allow a team of personal doctors from Hyderabad, brought by his advocates, to conduct a medical test on the MIM leader.
After the end of questioning, the police shifted Akbaruddin Owaisi back to the Adilabad Sub-Jail. He will remain in police custody till January 17 while his judicial custody will last till January 22. (INN)
