Aircel, one of India?s leading telecom companies, has partnered with Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications (MPT), the sole provider of telecommunication services in Myanmar, to offer international roaming services for its (Aircel's) customers travelling to Myanmar.
This roaming facility is available for postpaid subscribers of all Aircel circles. By clinching this exclusive partnership, Aircel becomes the first Indian telecom operator to offer such services to its customers.

The applicable rates for outgoing calls within Myanmar will be Rs 55 per minute, outgoing calls to India and other countries will be Rs 80 per minute and for Incoming calls rate will be Rs 60 per minute.
Earlier this year, Aircel created waves in the Indian telecom industry by introducing a revolutionary product - ?One Nation One Rate? - which pioneered the concept of ?free roaming? in the country.
