ACB raids on a former HMDA director's house and offices created a stir in the city today.
Anti-Corruption Bureau officers conducted searches at the house of former HMDA Director Shiva Balakrishna.
The ACB registered a case of disproportionate assets against Balakrishna, and in that connection, ACB officials conducted inspections at 20 locations across the State.
Officials searched the HMDA office in Ameerpet, and also conducted searches at Shiva Balakrishna's houses, his relatives' houses and their offices.
Balakrishna had worked in a key position in the HMDA's planning department, and the ACB found that he had misused his position and earned crores of rupees.
