600 Nominations Filed On Last Day For GHMC Elections

On the last day for nominations for the GHMC elections, a large number of candidates of various political parties submitted their nomination papers today.

According to reports, more than 600 nominations were submitted today.

That took the total number of nominations submitted to more than 1,000, for the 150 seats.

The State Election Commission will scrutinize the nominations tomorrow, and withdrawals are allowed on the 22nd.

As is known, the polling is slated for December 1, and the counting will be on December 4.
