4-Term CPI MLA Gunda Mallesh Passes Away
Mallesh was a four-time MLA from Bellampally in Adilabad district.

Senior CPI leader and former MLA Gunda Mallesh died at NIMS today.
Mallesh was a four-time MLA from Bellampally in Adilabad district.
The body was placed at Makhdoom Bhavan, the CPI headquarters in Hyderabad, for the public to pay their last respects.
The body will later be shifted to his native place in Bellampally for the final rites, according to reports.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed grief over the death of the CPI leader.
The CM recalled his association with Mallesh, and conveyed his condolences to bereaved members of Mallesh's family.
CPI leaders too expressed grief at the demise of the leader. CPI leaders who recalled his services and their associations with him included Narayana, Ch Venkat Reddy, Aziz Pasha, Ramakrishna, Bala Mallesh, E T Narsimha, Prathap Reddy and Pashya Padma.
Various other Left party leaders including Raghavulu, Tammineni Veerabhadram, Janakiram and others too expressed their grief over the death of Mallesh.
Other leaders who condoled the death included Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Speaker P Srinivas Reddy, Council Chairman G Sukhender Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu, Bhatti Vikramarka, V Hanumantha Rao, D K Aruna, G Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay, Asauddin Owaisi, Akbaruddin Owaisi, R Chandrasekhar Reddy, L Ramana and others.
