Students and youth eagerly waiting for jobs will be a happy lot as the State government will issue job notifications soon to fill 25,000 vacant posts - as early as in July 2015.
This was stated by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today at Parade Grounds while addressing the first Telangana Formation Day celebrations amid pomp and gaiety after unfurling the tricolour.
The Chief Minister said, "The students are on the warpath and we are not going to buy any more time. Notifications related to the filling of 25,000 vacant posts will be issued in July," he declared.
He also made it clear that the services of all the contract employees would be regularized soon.
After paying rich floral tributes to the Telangana martyrs at Gun Park, KCR took the salute and witnessed the ceremonial parade.
In his talk he lamented that despite one year after the formation of Telangana, the Centre was yet to take a final call on the officials' bifurcation.
He also declared that a GO would be issued to regularize the services of all the contract employees.
"Though there has been an inordinate delay in dividing the departments and officials in accordance with the A P Reorganisation Act, we are firm on keeping our promises of filling the vacant posts and regularising the services of the contract employees. The students are on a warpath, and we are not going to buy time in this regard," KCR remarked.
He also reiterated that Telangana would become a surplus power state, and would provide 9-hour power supply free of cost to the farming community next year. (NSS)
