The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

my House No 17-124/2/h/1sai Ram Nagar colony, survey of India,Uppal,near sairam Nagar community hall...Drainage is blocked ,out side the gate manhole is blocked ,inside the house drainage is overflowing from a week and small childrens are there we are suffering,so please kindly solve the problem soon.

Good morning, the footpath (from blue sea hotel towards Secunderabad metro Stn.) is occupied by street vendors Today on 23.05.18 at 0635hrs while I’m walking towards station with luggage difficulty in taking luggage when asked to move inside they are angry with gestures, a heavy fine to be implemented if not the days are not near that every footpath will be occupied.... I am from vasavi colony rd no. 11/1 saroornagar.. The garbage collection people have not been collecting the garbage atleast alternate days. As a result, causing flies another insects to come to the area besides emitting foul smell.He will come as he wish and every 5 days he will collect and his timings are very odd.He will not use vessel

Unfortunately we have to bring to your notice that a 33kv pole is situated in the middle of a twenty feet road in Happy homes colony ,placed opposite to plot 154 & Plot 151,with vehicles passing more frequently, a request is put up to grant permission from Deputy Commissioner Rajendranagar circle or Charminar to shift the pole by Divisional engineer Shivarampally and aligning with other poles,kindly act immediately, repeated requests to tsspdcl states that GHMC need to confer permission, a visit by staff may give more clarity.do the needful.

Sir, iam a resident of nagole 2-1-231,rd no 1 venkataramana colony . We are facing a drainage overflow problem since 2 months due to blockages in the main drain . As our house is a bit low level to the newly laid concrete road the drainage is flooding our premises . I request you to please look into the matter. Thankyou

Garbage collection is not being done regularly. During the 7 days onwards his not comming for collecting the garbage. I am given telephonic completent yesterday day before yesterday.
