The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Iam resident of H.No.6-300 Manikyanagar,chinthal, Hyd-50054, Quthbullapur constituency.I have born and boughtup in the same colony. Five years back our street has been digged to change the drainage pipes, but till now new road or any patch work has not done.In the month of October’17 GHMC has approved to cover the road with the patch work, but the contractor hasn’t done since two months and he transferred the budget to other work.Could you please take necessary action and help in getting the road layed by GHMC. Our street H.No. 6-300 to 6-305.

I have reached to GHMC call centre 11 times and even spoken to Mr. Mallreddy EE 5 times, but the issue is not resolved.I would request to take necessary action, if not there is no use of GHMC online grievance cell and call center team if the issues are not resolved.

Despite giving several complaints and talking to the Local GHMC sweepers,the garbage dumped adjacent to our compound wall which is facing the prestigious Jubilee hills public school is lying like that since the past 4 days.Sombody has also dumped several bags of empty alcohol bottles too, which the school children have to see daily and walk by.This also happens to be the road taken byseveral IAS and IPS officers on their way to Prashasannagar. Road no 71.If this is the state of affairs in a so called premium locality with zero response from the influential law makers who turn a blind eye to the road in which they go everyday,we can only imagine how it must be else where.There are cctv cameras too. They can also check who has dumped there.

It’s really very unhygiene and causing lot of problem. The lane is stinking like hell. We have small children and are worried abt them. Plz take action as soon as possible.

Kindly resolve the problem of mosquitoes at Balaji nagar colony 3rd lane at Manikonda. The problem is terrible and there are so many mosquitoes that I feel I will not be alive to complain again tomorrow. I beg you guys to please please do something.. Whole of humanity will be very grateful.

Sir, my neighbour's illegal construction (three floors&pent house)in h.no:17-1-386/1/88, kehavnagar colony, saidabad is paying a pittance of Rs101/. Construction was done in 2011. Total building sft is around 5000sft. But ghmc circle4b assesment is for just 250sft only. I got this information through rti act. Will the aurhorities concerned act?
