JAC blames TDP ministers for not resigning from their posts, and for the attacks on Telangana lawyers
Hyderabad | 13th March 2010
The all-party Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) has snapped ties with the Telugu Desam party (TDP), saying that its ministers had failed to resign from their posts as agreed. It also blamed the attack on Telangana lawyers at Indira Park for the decision.

Prof Kodandaram, the JAC convenor, said the decision was taken at a meeting attended by TRS chief KCR, Prof Jayashankar and other members of the JAC. The TDP had earlier accused Kodandaram of acting on behalf of KCR, and relations between the TDP and the JAC had been quite sour for some time.

The Congress had walked out of the JAC long back. The BJP, too, has not being playing a very active role in the JAC's activities. The JAC is now left with primarily the TRS.

Since none of the recognised state political parties are on JAC, the word joint is irrelevant now and the whole JAC of KCR / Kodanda /slaves of KCR/TRS for political survival of vested interests be wound up right now and all JAC offices be vacated for more useful/productive services to people.
