Accusing the TRS government of adopting delaying tactics in the appointment of Sub-Inspectors of Police (SIs), Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy today demanded that the government complete the process at the earliest.

In a letter to the Chief Minister, Reddy asked him to explain the reasons for the inordinate delay in announcing the results of the SI examinations for 570 posts which were held in November last year.

He also said the government should complete the process of appointment of SIs within a fortnight. If the government failed to respond, his party would launch a stir with the support of the SI candidates, he warned.
