Tributes Paid To YSR On His Birth Anniversary

Copious tributes were paid to former Chief Minister, the late Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, on his birth anniversary.

YSR Congress Party honorary president Y S Vijayamma, Jaganmohan Reddy's wife Y S Bharathi, and other family members offered flowers at the samadhi of the late YSR at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district.

To mark the occasion, YSRCP leaders and activists participated in a blood donation camp organised at YSR Ghat.

Vijayamma also inaugurated a free ambulance service and participated in Annadanam programmes.

In the state capital, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and other leaders paid their homage to the late YSR at the latter's statue in Punjagutta. Similar events were also organised at Gandhi Bhavan and in the Assembly premises. (INN)
