Union Law Minister and AICC In-charge of Andhra Pradesh Veerappa Moily said that Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's resignation from Congress was most unfortunate.
Union Law Minister and AICC In-charge of Andhra Pradesh Veerappa Moily termed the resignation of Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy as "most unfortunate".
Jaganmohan Reddy, along with his mother Y S Vijaya Lakshmi who was an MLA from Pulivendula, submitted their resignations from Congress party to party President Sonia Gandhi on Monday.
When asked whether the move will shake the foundation of the Congress in the state, Moily said that it would not make much difference. He added that no Congress leader would quit the party barring a few loyalists.
Jaganmohan had quit stating his dissatisfaction at the turn of events in state politics after the death of his father and former Chief Minister Of Andhra Pradesh, Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
