The Supreme Court has posted to May 2 the bail petition of Vijaya Sai Reddy, who is an accused in the Y S Jagan Disproportionate Assets (DA) case.
The CBI has filed a petition, pleading with the apex court to cancel Vijay Sai Reddy's bail. It contended that Vijay Sai Reddy has been hindering the process of investigation. It also alleged that the second accused has been coercing the witnesses, and that there is evidence to this effect.
"Since he has been influencing the witnesses, the investigation is being delayed," the premier investigation agency told the court.
The hearing will continue on Thursday. (INN)
