Condemning the attitude of Seemandhra MPs and MLAs, students of Andhra University, owing allegiance to Samaikhyandhra Joint Action Committee, called for a Seemandhra JACs meeting on Tuesday at Nagarjuna University.
According to JAC leader N Seetharam, JAC leaders from 14 universities in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions are expected to participate in the meeting.
Seetharam revealed that the meeting will discuss the fallout and the strategy to be adopted after the submission of the Justice B N Srikrishna Commission's report on the situation in the state.
The JAC leader also stated that the meeting would condemn the people's representatives' "lethargic, unresponsive and negligent" attitude on keeping the state integrated.
The students warned Seemandhra MPs and MLAs of serious consequences if they did not respond positively to their agitation for keeping the state integrated.
Seetharam also called on students of all universities across the 2 regions to express their views freely over the need for keeping Andhra Pradesh united.
