Two NRIs Donate Rs 12.5 Crores To Tirumala Temple

Two US-based Telugu entrepreneurs donated Rs 13.5 crores to the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala on Saturday.

Two US-based Telugu entrepreneurs donated Rs 13.5 crores to the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala on Saturday.

Ika Ravi, Founder-CEO of Rx Advance, a pharmaceutical company in Boston, USA, donated Rs 10 crores to the e-Hundi of the temple, and Srinivas Guthikonda, CEO of JCG Technologies also based in the USA, donated Rs 3.50 crores of which Rs 1 crore was to the S V Annaprasadam Trust, Rs 1 crore was to the TTD BIRRD Trust, Rs 1 crore was to the Sarvasreya Trust, Rs 20 lakhs was towards the Cottage Donation Scheme, and Rs 10 lakhs each were to SVIMS, S V Gosamrakhana and S V Vidyadana Trusts.

Srinivas handed over the DDs to TTD Chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav in the Tirumala temple.
