The TSRTC has earned Rs. 62 crore so far through its Cargo Parcel Services.
This was revealed by state Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar in the Assembly today.
Speaking during Question Hour, he gushed that the customers of the cargo parcel service were quite happy with the service.
The minister also informed the house that the corporation now had 195 cargo buses, being operated from 177 bus stations, and that it would soon procure another 50 buses.
Old buses were being used for the transportation of bulk goods, he said.
He added that the corporation was now planning to introduce home pick-up and home delivery of parcels in the state.
