The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has won both the MLC seats in north Telangana, with Swamy Goud and Sudhakar Reddy winning the graduates and teachers seats respectively.
Swamy Goud of TRS won the North Telangana Graduates MLC elections. He secured over 33,000 first preferential votes and has emerged as winner. Speaking on the occasion, he said that his victory was the victory of the people of Telangana.
Sudhakar Reddy won by a majority of 9,000 votes. (INN)
