The TRS has re-submitted its party symbol, a car, with some changes to the Election Commission Of India for approval.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, during his recent Delhi visit on December 27, had requested the Election Commission to allow some changes to the party symbol so as to enable the voters to recognize it clearly given that symbols similar to it, such as a truck, had been allotted to other political parties which he claimed had hurt the TRS in the recent Assembly elections.
Following up on that, TRS MP B Vinod Kumar today submitted the altered version of the car with a different colour and certain other changes, that would enable senior citizens and those with vision problems to identify the TRS symbol easily on EVMs / ballot papers.
