AICC Secretary V Hanumantha Rao demanded the Telangana government make the family survey of SC/STs, BCs, and other minorities conducted by it more comprehensive, and warned them that the Congress would stage dharna in front of Raj Bhavan if Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao failed to concede.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, the AICC Secretary alleged that the Chief Minister was suppressing BCs by indulging in vote-bank politics in order to win the upcoming 2019 elections.
