Demanding that Kalwakurthy MLA Vamshichand Reddy tender apologies to Panchayatraj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao for making baseless allegations against the latter, Acchampet MLA Guvvala Balaraju warned the former stating that Vamshichand too would face the fate of Revanth Reddy if he wanted to become a paper tiger.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Balaraju said that Vamshichand Reddy was resorting to low level politics. He warned Vamshichand not to make allegations against TRS leaders to cover up for his own mistakes.
It may be recalled that Jupally Krishna Rao termed Vamshichand a "lafoot" while speaking on the Kalwakurthy lift irrigation project. Reacting to that, Vamshichand had dubbed Jupally a 420 on Tuesday.
TRS MLA A Venkateshwar Reddy, too, said that the language used by Vamshichand against Jupally was objectionable.
Venkateshwar Reddy said that everybody knew how Vamshichand had entered a pact with former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal. Such a person had no right to speak against Jupally who had fought for the sake of Telangana state, he said.
Vamshichand was under an illusion that he would become a big man if he criticised big people, Venkateshwar Reddy said, and demanded that Vamshichand tender apologies to Jupally immediately.
Venkateshwar Reddy also claimed that the Congress leaders were obstructing the construction of irrigation projects, and had no right to speak on the Palamuru projects.
Vamshichand has been waging war against the TRS government alleging that the latter was showing a step-motherly attitude towards Kalwakurthy's farmers for the last several months. He also alleged that the TRS government had intentionally reduced the ayacut under the Kalwakurthy lift irrigation project canal in the Kalwakurthy constituency.
