TRS Dubs Amit Shah As "Shah Of Lies", Sanjay As Best Comedian

TRS leaders came down heavily on senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his diatribe yesterday against the KCR government, and dubbed him the "Shah of lies".

Addressing the media at Toopran town in Medak district on Sunday, Finance Minister T Harish Rao and Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy said that the speech of Shah, who had addressed a public meeting at Tukkuguda on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Saturday night, was a pack of lies, with not even a single word of truth.

Terming the BJP the Bada Jhoota Party, Rao asked if Shah was suffering from Alzheimer's disease given how he had failed to witness the "unprecedented development" being taken up in Telangana under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

He also dared Shah to prove that it was the Centre that had granted funds to Telangana's Mission Bhagiratha, which aimed at providing drinking water to every household.

"The people of Telangana can judge better who really worked for their welfare, and they are not going to believe the lies of Gujarat leader," he claimed.

Elsewhere in Warangal, Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao too claimed that Shah had uttered blatant lies against the TRS government, and was perhaps blind to fail to witness the development in Telangana.

He added that the BJP had done nothing for Telangana in the last eight years, and had even gone back on all the commitments made to the State.

Ministers Srinivas Yadav and Vemula Prashanth Reddy, who inaugurated free double bedroom houses at Bansilalpet in Hyderabad, too accused Shah of indulging making false remarks against the TRS government, and dared him to show any better development in the BJP-ruled States.

TRS MLA Jeevan Reddy termed the BJP meeting at Tukkuguda as a flop show, and dubbed BJP Telangana president Bandi Sanjay Kumar as the "best comedian".
