Many Metro Rail commuters faced hardships due to the actions of the traffic police on Thursday at the Ameerpet metro station.
Many people who came to the Ameerpet metro station parked their two-wheelers at vacant places near the station and went to their destinations in the metro. Soon, however, the traffic police entered the scene and towed away the parked two-wheelers to the police station stating that there was parking place at the Ameerpet metro station and the people should have parked there.
The victims of the towing expressed their unhappiness with the traffic police over the action on the very second day of the commencement of the metro service. They said that the traffic police should have given exemption to the metro rail travellers till the metro authorities arranged proper parking place and fully communicated that to the commuters.
