Top Leaders Mourn Mulayam Singh Yadav's Passing

Most top leaders of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana paid tributes to Samajwadi party founder and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, who passed away of cancer today at the age of 82.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed deep shock and grief over the death of Yadav. Rao said that Yadav, a secularist, had entered politics inspired by great leaders like Ram Manohar Lohiya and Raj Narayan, and as chief minister thrice of the biggest State in India Uttar Pradesh and as a union minister, had worked for the welfare of the poor and weaker sections throughout his life.
Rao will attend the funeral of Yadav on Tuesday. He will reach Saifai, Yadav's native village in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday afternoon, and pay tributes to the mortal remains of Yadav and later attend the funeral.
IT Minister K T Rama Rao too expressed his grief, and his condolences to Akhilesh Yadav and his family.
"This is truly the end of an era in Indian politics," he tweeted.
Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy; ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Mohd Mahmood Ali, Gangula Kamalakar, Harish Rao, Koppula Eshwar and Indrakaran Reddy; MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra; State Planning Board vice-chairman Boinpalli Vinod Kumar; TPCC president and MP Revanth Reddy; and State BJP president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar also expressed deep sorrow over the death of Yadav, and conveyed their condolences to his family members.
Andhra Pradesh CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan, and Telugu Desam Party president and former AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu also expressed their sorrow over the passing away of Yadav.
