Three more positive cases of the coronavirus Covid-19 were reported in Telangana on Tuesday, taking the number to 36.
According to the reports received, the new cases include a a 49-year-old who recently returned home from London, a woman returning from Germany and hailing from Chandanagar, and a 61-year-old woman from Begumpet who came from Saudi.
On Monday six cases had been detected across the state, taking the number to 33.
The state government is taking many preventive measures to tackle the situation and stop the further spread of the virus. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had announced a complete lockdown of the state on Sunday till March 31st. The government has also strengthened surveillance, contact tracing and containment measures to prevent spread of the disease.
