Former minister Thatikonda Rajaiah today lashed out at Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari, who recently defected to the Congress.
Rajaiah was addressing a BRS meeting in Warangal. Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that Srihari had not developed the constituency despite representing it for a really long time, and dared the latter to an open debate on the development he claimed to have done.
Rajaiah also alleged that Srihari had assets abroad, and that his daughter Kavya and her husband Nazir were benamis of these illegal properties.
He said that with the money looted from Telangana, Srihari had amassed illegal assets in Malaysia and Singapore, and that he hid his money through hawala transactions and transferred it abroad.
"Srihari is a miscreant who killed those who did not surrender to him," Rajaiah claimed, and also alleged that when Srihari was a minister, he collected Rs 2 crore for the transfers of DEOs and Rs 6 crore from the Lingampally project contractor.
Former minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao said that the BJP would soon topple the State government. He also asked Kadiyam to resign and win again given he had defected after winning on a BRS ticket.
