A software engineer from Andhra Pradesh died in the USA, in the wee hours of Sunday.

According to family sources, the deceased, 35-year-old Chekka Shiva Kiran, drowned accidentally in the Grand River in the US.

The incident took place when Shiva Kiran, along with his family members, went for a picnic on Sunday.

Shiva hails from Ullithota in Rajahmundry of East Godavari district. He was working as a software engineer in the US for the past 10 years. One of his brothers is a businessman, and another a dentist. (INN)
