The incident occurred today at Dubbagudem in the Sirpur (T) mandal when Suresh, the farmer, was attacked by a tiger while working in his field early in the morning.

Suresh was immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment.
This follows a fatal attack three days ago in the Kagaznagar mandal. Morley Lakshmi, a 21-year-old from Gannaram village, was mauled by a tiger while walking to a cotton field near Nazrul Nagar. The tiger dragged her by the neck, inflicting severe injuries. Lakshmi succumbed to her wounds on the way to the hospital.
