Telangana TDP Threatens No-Trust Move Against TRS
The Speaker was failing to protect the rights of the members, the TDP said, and threatened to move a no-confidence motion in consultation with the Congress.
Dubbing the Telangana budget "hopeless", TDP MLA Revanth Reddy charged Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao with not having an understanding of the Budget even after two years.
Speaking on the Budget, Reddy said that the TRS government had allocated Rs 70,000 crores for the KCR family and Rs 4,700 crores for the defecting MLAs.
He also alleged that the government was making the Speaker adjourn the House whenever his question came up in the House.
The Speaker was failing to protect the rights of the members, he said, adding that his Party in consultation with the Congress would move a no-confidence motion.
Another TDP MLA R Krishnaiah said that there was nothing new in the Budget. The TRS government had insulted the BCs by allocating meagre funds, he alleged, and asked the government to change the budget and allocate adequate funds to the BCs, failing which the BCs would be on the warpath.
