The Congress MPs V Hanumantha Rao and Palvai Govardhan Reddy, on Monday, urged their counterparts from the Rayalaseema and Andhra regions to accept the decision of the Congress High Command with regards to the Telangana issue.
Adresssing separate press conferences, VHR and Palvai accused the Seemandhra MPs and other leaders of trying to obstruct the formation of a separate Telangana state. They said that the MPs were sabotaging the process of Telangana formation by confusing the Centre and other parties in the UPA.
While VHR alleged that Seemandhra capitalists were trying to create obstacles in Telangana formation, Palvai advised those not willing to follow the High Command's decision to quit the party.
Palvai also said that the Rayala-Telangana proposal was not acceptable. (INN)
