Endowments Minister C Ramchandraiah resigned from the state cabinet on Tuesday, in protest against the Centre's decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh.
Ramchandraiah, a close associate of Union Minister K Chiranjeevi, faxed his resignation to the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.
His resignation came in a day after two other ministers - Kondru Murali Mohan and Shatrucharla Vijayarama Raju - resigned from the cabinet. With his resignation, the total number of Seemandhra ministers who quit the cabinet has increased to 13.
It may be mentioned here that minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, another former PRP leader and close associate of Chiranjeevi, had already resigned from the state cabinet. (INN)
