Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Vice-President Mallu Ravi today hailed the Hyderabad High Court's 90-day ultimatum to the Telangana Speaker seeking action against the TDP MLAs who had defected to the TRS for money.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Thursday, Ravi accused the TRS of violating the Constitution, and demanded that the Speaker disqualify the MLAs in question and order re-elections.
Alleging that the TRS had bribed the Congress and TDP MLAs in question, he said that the Election Commission should disqualify the TRS from contesting the next elections if Party leaders were guilty of overstepping Constitutional boundaries.
