Congress MLC M S Prabhakar thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for sacking his deputy Dr T Rajaiah from the state cabinet.
Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises on Sunday, Prabhakar said that the Congress leaders had no personal grudge against Dr Rajaiah. However, as a health minister, he had failed to do his job properly in controlling the spread of swine flu in Telangana.
Prabhakar thanked KCR for accepting the demand made by the Congress of sacking the health minister from the cabinet.
Prabhakar also demanded that the Chief Minister himself monitor the swine flu situation, and also visit the hospitals where swine flu patients were admitted, to check on the conditions and facilities. (INN)
