Congress MLAs Suspended For A Day From Assembly
Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy suspended all the six Congress MLAs for one day after they disrupted the proceedings while CM KCR was addressing the House.
Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy on Saturday suspended all the six Congress MLAs for one day after they disrupted the proceedings while Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was addressing the House during the discussion on the Motion of Thanks for the Governor's speech.
The Speaker announced his decision after Legislature Affairs Minister V Prashanth Reddy moved a proposal for the suspension of the Congress legislators after they repeatedly and noisily heckled the Chief Minister during the latter's speech.
The suspended Congress MLAs are CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, D Sridhar Babu, Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, Toorpu Jagga Reddy, Podem Veeraiah and Dansari Anasuya alias Seethakka.
They continued to disrupt the Chief Minister's statement despite repeated pleas by the Speaker and the Legislative Affairs Minister, which led to their suspension.
