Commissioner Of School Education Pulled Up For Online Classes

The TSCPCR has issued notice to the CSE regarding private schools conducting online classes and collecting fees, in spite of government instructions.

The Telangana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (TSCPCR) has issued a notice to the Commissioner of School Education (CSE) about the news published in a Telugu daily with the caption "Badi Tegimpu" today.

TSCPCR is a statutory body constituted by an Act of Parliament, under the Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CPCR) Act, 2005.

TSCPCR Chairperson J Srinivas Rao issued the notice to the CSE regarding private schools conducting online classes and collecting fees in different forms, in spite of the government instructions vide GO Rt No 46 School Education (Gen I) Department, dated 21.04.2020.

The commission has taken up the case suo motu, and has directed the Commissioner of School Education, Telangana, to enquire into the matter and submit the action-taken report by July 6.
