Telangana BJP Welcomes Mecca Masjid Blasts Verdict

The then UPA government had foisted cases on innocent persons in the case to tarnish the image of the RSS, the party claimed.

Telangana BJP leader, MLC and Greater Hyderabad BJP president N Ramchander Rao today alleged that the then Congress-led UPA government had foisted cases against innocent persons in the Mecca Masjid blasts case.

The BJP MLC welcomed the court verdict acquitting all the five accused, and said that the UPA government had tried to implicate innocent persons in the case to tarnish the image of the RSS.

Justice had ultimately prevailed, he said.
