Bandi Sanjay Flays TRS In Warangal Roadshow

Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar today slammed the TRS during his roadshow in poll-bound Warangal.

Alleging that the ruling party had given tickets to "rowdies and goondas" for the upcoming greater Warangal Municipal Corporation elections, the BJP leader said, "The TRS has given all its party tickets to goons good at butchering the heads, legs and hands of people. The voters of Warangal must choose between a political party which is committed to the development of the city or a party that not only encourages but actively supports anti-social elements across the state."

He also emphasised that the problems of the locals would be solved not by the TRS but by the saffron party.

"The ruling party has not been able to deal with basic sanitation issues in the region - garbage has been accumulating in the Vaddepally tank from the Rampur dump yard. This highly polluted water is then being supplied as drinking water to the residents of Warangal. Unlike the TRS, which will not change even if voted into power, our party will definitely ensure that the people of the city are supplied with clean drinking water and not polluted water. We will work to develop Warangal in every way," Kumar added.

In what was likely a bid to highlight the BJP's commitment to the people of Telangana, the firebrand leaders then stated, "The BJP-led Centre has been working hard to support the healthcare sector to overcome the ongoing pandemic. It has been trying to solve the problem of the shortage of medical oxygen and vaccines. Our party will always work for the welfare of the people of this state and the country. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, meanwhile, will only loot the state and invest this ill-gotten wealth in foreign countries. I hope the voters vote wisely not only during the upcoming municipal elections but also in the 2023 Assembly elections. If we win the 2023 elections, we promise to send the current CM to jail for his corruption."
