The Telangana Assembly today passed the Appropriation Bill for 2019-20.
Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy adjourned the House sine die after passing the bill (for Rs 1.82,017 crore).
After Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao presented the bill in the House in the morning, Leader Of Opposition Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka started the debate on it and sought clarifications from the CM on the same. After KCR clarified the proposals in the bill, the Speaker adjourned the House sine die.
The House started sessions on February 22 and the CM presented the budget on that day. That was followed by a debate on February 23. On Monday the House discussed the budget and proposals by the members.
With the passage of the Appropriation Bill, the government can make use of the funds for upto six months.
