Swachch Hyderabad To Be A Continuous Program: KCR
The Telangana CM said though the campaign would be held during 16-20 May, another meeting with the city's elected representatives would happen on May 26.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced that Swachch Telangana - Swachch Hyderabad would be a continuous program.
Addressing a meeting with the city's MPs and legislators at the state secretariat on Thursday, the Chief Minister said that although the Swachch Hyderabad campaign would be held from 16th to 20th May, he would conduct another meeting with the elected representatives of the city on May 26 to discuss the campaign's outcome and the people's feedback.
He said that the representations and complaints received from the general public during the campaign would be discussed in the next meeting, which will be held on May 26 at the MCRHRD institute from 10 am.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister informed that instead of 400, the city had been divided into 425 parts for the Swachch Hyderabad campaign. He also shared details of the campaign, and stated that the state government intended to involve the general public on a large scale.
He said that at least 6,000 voluntary "Change Agents" would be deployed across the city to ensure that the city remained clean and green.
KCR informed that Governor E S L Narasimhan, cabinet ministers, all senior officials and even Army officials had offered their complete support to the program.
He said that besides sanitation and garbage-lifting, major other issues including power, drinking water, roads and drainage would be addressed during the Swachch Hyderabad campaign.
He promised to release Rs 50 lakhs for each area to resolve the problems.
Union Labour Minister and Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatreya, Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, ministers Nayani Narasimha Reddy, T Padma Rao and Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma, GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar, and MPs, MLAs, MLCs and members of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board participated in the meeting.
