Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam Executive Officer I Y R Krishna Rao, on Saturday, stated that the Devasthanam has received Rs. 14.36 crore in hundi collections during the 9 days of the Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavam, which concluded with the Chakrasnanam.
Krishna Rao told media persons that 6 lakh devotees visited the hill shrine during the 9-day event.
He said the Devasthanam has sold 22 lakh laddus, and that there were no complaints about the shortage of supply of laddus.
Free meals were provided to 9 lakh devotees, and 3 lakh devotees were tonsured in Kalyanakatta.
Krishna Rao also revealed that the TTD is organizing a national-level convention on November 14-15 to frame modalities for providing accommodation, amenities and hassle-free darshans. He said the meet of the religious heads will be held on November 29 and 30.

The EO also thanked the TTD and police officials for extending their cooperation to ensure that the Brahmotsavam passed off smoothly.
