Srihari Violated Poll Code, Congress Tells EC
Deputy CM Kadiam Srihari had violated the election code by participating in an election campaign for the Warangal Lok Sabha by-elections, the Congress complained.
Congress leaders lodged a complaint with the Election Commission on Saturday alleging that Telangana Deputy CM Kadiam Srihari had violated the election code.
They alleged in the complaint that Srihari had resorted to campaigning on behalf of P Dayakar.
Srihari and TRS MLA Vinaya Bhaskar had violated the election code by participating in an election campaign at the Government Junior College premises on Friday, they said, and demanded that the Election Commission initiate action against Srihari.
The Congress leaders also enclosed press clippings along with their complaint.
TPCC general secretary and AICC member T Kumar Rao and others were also present in the meeting with the EC.
