Singareni Employees' Children Get Reservation In Ramagundam Medical College

Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao took this decision after taking into consideration the pleas received from the Singareni employees.

The Telangana government on Thursday issued an order providing reservation in MBBS seats for the children of the Singareni Collieries employees in the Ramagundam Medical College.

Out of the 150 MBBS seats in the college each year, 23 are allocated to the all-India quota. Of the remaining 127 seats, 5% - i. e. 7 seats - have been allotted to the children of the collieries' employees.

SC, ST and BC reservation will be considered for the seats filled on the basis of NEET.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao took this decision after taking into consideration the pleas received from the Singareni employees.

The Singareni Collieries employees expressed happiness over the decision of the Chief Minister and extended their gratitude to him.
