Siddipet Gets Skoch Award For Haritha Haram

Siddipet district on Thursday was selected for the Skoch Award for it's green initiative Haritha Haram.

Siddipet district has been selected for the Skoch Award for the plantation taken up under the Telanganaku Haritha Haram project in the gram panchayats of the district.

This is yet another feather in the cap for Siddipet after it was recently declared Open Defecation-Free (ODF) by Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao hails from the district.
