Shoaib's Divorce Papers Under Question

Malik's late father's name is printed differently in his divorce papers and in his wedding invitation
Hyderabad | 10th April 2010
In what seems to be forming another wart for Shoaib Malik in the Shoaib-Ayesha tyrst, the legality of his father's name in his singed divorce papers with Ayesha Siddiqui is under scrutiny.

Malik's divorce papers included his late father's name as Malik Saleem Hussain, which was what was in the nikahnama (that registered the marriage between Ayesha and Shoaib) as well. However, the father's name in the invitation for his wedding reception with Sania Mirza was printed as Malik Faqeer Hussain.

While most people, including Ayesha's family, don't see it as a threat, a few lawyers allege that the divorce papers are not valid.
According to some, this is consistent with what Shaoib had been saying since the whole controversy began, and that it is an attempt to express that he never married Ayesha Siddiqui.

Meanwhile, Sania and Shoaib's nikahnama, which was purported to be happening yesterday, was called off becuase his passport wasn't available as demanded by the Qazi. The passport is in police custody, and despite Ayesha withdrawing her complaints, its handover is expected to take a few more days.
