SCs, STs To Get 22% Quota In Marketing Panels

KCR said that the SCs and STs would be given reservation in the posts of Chairman and Directors, too.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday informed that 22% reservation would be given to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in the Marketing Committees.

Speaking to media persons, KCR said that the SCs and STs would be given reservation in the posts of Chairman and Directors, too.

Reservation would be given to the SCs and STs in the Executive Committees, Syndicates and Senates of Telangana universities.

The CM also informed that one hostel each would be constructed in every Assembly constituency. He said that an ordinance would be issued soon in this regard. (INN)
