Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) President M Kodandaram today demanded the State government start the process of the merger of the TSRTC with the government immediately.
Speaking to the media after an all-party meeting on the RTC workers' strike, he said that the Opposition parties were all strongly behind the RTC staff, and would announce a decision on October 10 on a Telangana bandh to support the strike.
He alleged that a greater conspiracy was going on to sell out the properties of the TSRTC, and that there was need for all parties to come together to stop the same.
He also said that a need would arise for another Sakala Janula Samme if the government continued with its adamant attitude on the issue.
The all-party leaders had decided to submit a representation to the Governor on the RTC strike, he added.
