Former BJP MLA N V S S Prabhakar today made some interesting comments about CM Revanth Reddy.
He alleged that Congress high command did not feel any responsibility or ownership for the promises made by Reddy in the last Assembly elections.
Speaking to media persons, he said, "The Congress high command feels that Revanth Reddy's promises have nothing to do with the promises made by the Congress."
He also said that Revanth Reddy was being remote-controlled by the party high command in Delhi.
"Revanth Reddy has a habit of going to Delhi frequently, making random excuses for that. And most of the key portfolios are in the hands of the CM, and by extension all his powers are in the hands of the leaders of Congress high command. AICC State incharge Deepa Dasmunsi is running the State as an extra constitutional authority. Revanth Reddy is being insulted and threatened by the high command, which is hindering his rule," he alleged.
Given how often Reddy was going to Delhi, Prabhakar advised him to just set up an office in Delhi than stay in Telangana.
He also said that the Congress' rule in the State had completely failed and that the treasury was empty.
Commenting on the scheduled meeting of the two Telugu State CMs, he said that the BJP welcomed the meeting. He however asked to know whether the Congress high command had given permission to Revanth Reddy to meet Chandrababu Naidu, and claimed that the meeting could be called off at any moment.
