Telangana TDP senior leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu said that there would be no loss to the party if Revanth Reddy left.
Speaking to mediapersons at the NTR Bhavan, Narasimhulu said that Reddy was focused more on his own selfish ends than on the party. He said that Reddy had decided to leave the party to join the Congress, and was levelling baseless charges against the party leaders now to gain public sympathy.
He also accused Reddy of spoiling the image of the party for his personal benefits. He alleged that 12 of the 15 MLAs of the party had defected due to the attitude of Reddy.
Motkupalli, along with Arvind Kumar Goud, had reportedly walked out of the TDP politburo meeting as they were not satisfied with the reply of Reddy in the meeting.
