As a Ramzan bonanza, the Telangana government has taken a decision to distribute clothes to poor Muslim families in the state.
According to information, the TRS government has decided to offer two sarees, two kurthas and a scent bottle to each such family.
It may be recalled here that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had announced recently that clothes would be distributed to 1.95 lakh poor Muslim families on the occasion of Ramzan this year. The government will also spend Rs 26 crores to offer Haleem after prayers at selected mosques in all districts and towns.
The Chief Minister is also gracing a "Daawat-E-Ifthar" at the Nizam College grounds on July 12 at 7 pm. (NSS)
