Ramky Enviro Engineers Limited has extended an invitation to all the 150 Corporators of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation to visit New Delhi and Agra cities to study the Integrated Municipal Solid Waste Management Projects being managed by the company in these cities.
The Ramky group is managing two projects in New Delhi and one in Agra.
The Corporators will visit the two cities in two batches. In the first batch, 42 from the MIM, 31 from the TDP and one from the Congress will visit the cities. This batch will leave on the morning of July 4.
The second batch will leave for the tour on July 10 with the remaining Corporators.
The tour is believed to be organised by the Ramky group to mollify the Corporators, since the latter are apaprently against the agreement between the Corporation and the company.
Apart from the differences between the Corporators and the Ramky Group, the GHMC employee unions are also against the agreement. GHMC employees say that the Corporators are being given pleasure trips while their jobs are at stake.
This visit is useful to Corporators to know the waste management projects to implement in Hyderabad. It makes coordination and unity between corporators to speedy works in Hyderabad for the Useful of Public.
