Ramesh Rathod Slams TRS For Denying Him Ticket

Former MP Ramesh Rathod today alleged that the TRS had dumped him unethically by denying him a ticket from Khanapur in Nirmal district for the upcoming Assembly elections.

Former MP Ramesh Rathod today alleged that the TRS had dumped him unethically by denying him a ticket from Khanapur in Nirmal district for the upcoming Assembly elections.

He said that he would contest the elections anyway, and that he had not yet decided on joining any other party.

"KCR had promised me the Khanapur ticket when I had joined the TRS fold," he said. "However he has denied me a ticket now. I will contest the polls anyway."

Rumours are that he is likely to join the Congress or the TDP soon.

Rathod had shifted to the TRS from the TDP. He was the MP for Adilabad during 2009-2014.
